The Alesis MICLINK WIRELESS is a digital wireless microhpone adapter system that converts any Lo-Z dynamic microphone to a wireless microphone system. The system includes an XLR transmitter that plugs in to a microphone and a compact receiver. The XLR transmitter features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can operate up to six hours on a single charge, and the receiver features a 1/4" output, a single antenna and can operate via three AAA batteries or the included AC power adapter.

This is What Wireless Freedom Looks Like
MicLink Wireless aims to take the complexity, frustration, and cost out of traditional wireless systems - creating a flexible, all-in-one solution that gets you up and running with the dynamic mic of your choice.

Four Steps to Wireless Freedom
We’ve simplified the unnecessarily complicated world of wireless systems to the following:

1. Plug the MicLink Wireless universal XLR transmitter into your dynamic mic of choice.
2. Turn on the receiver.
3. Press and hold the pair button on the receiver and transmitter for 3 seconds.
4. Start performing – for up to 60 feet, for over 6 hours, and with up to 5 wireless systems working simultaneously.

That’s it - no channel searching, no mess of wires, no sacrifice in quality - just an easy wireless solution for your dynamic mic of choice.
Put the freedom back into your wireless microphone experience. Go MicLink Wireless.

I took a shot on this device because I was dissatisfied with the thinness of the sound of the Samson Airline 77 on my saxophone. My favorite wired mic on the bandstand is an SM-58. While not an exact match to the wired 58, the MicLink allows me to use a 58 attached to my horn with a bell clamp. The sound is fatter and closer to the quality of a wired 58, and better than the samson. I've had no tracking issues at all so far. The only negative is that the receiver is made of a super lightweight plastic and doesn't fee like it will hold up for the long haul (we'll see). However, the transmitter is very light, adding almost no extra weight, and the price for this unit makes it a great buy.

Awesome little wireless mic transmitter/receiver November 6, 2014

This small item is perfect for what I am doing, and the price is worth it, seeing that stand-alone wireless mics are priced much higher. I already have two excellent Shure mics, so why buy another mic when I could spend only what this costs to convert my mic to wireless?  I am very happy with it so far (I've been using it for only about 3 weeks, and it is flawless in clarity and extensive in its range.
