The next level of software sampler workstations including a premium 70GB sound library. The audio engine of Independence 2 was completely redesigned and improved. With the new "multi core support" you can now decide how many cores of your computer you want to "reserve" for Independence 2! This way you can make sure that there are the maximum available CPU ressources for Independence 2 without getting in trouble with your other applications. Another leap forward is the possibilty to load 3rd party VST effects and VST instruments directly in Independence 2, so you have immediate access not only to other sample libraries in Independence 2 but also all your other VST effects and/or instruments. 

The completely new "Browser" page in Independence 2 lets you search and import audio and MIDI files as easy as possible. To make your file management as easy as possible, the Independence 2 browser contains a sophisticated attributes batch utility that lets you edit and add attributes for your selected files in one simple step. The "Quick Edit" edit page of Independence 2 was extended with the "remote control" feature: 8 freely assignable knobs and buttons including "learn" option for any Independence 2 parameter and even other applications you are using! This lets you easily assign your favourite features and functions to these knobs and buttons, so you can customize your Independence 2 workflow the most flexible way possible!

Independence Live:
A powerful host application specially designed for Independence 2 performances "live on stage". Beside an unlimited amount of Independence 2 Projects you can also load 3rd party VST effects and VST instruments in Independence Live. The immediate switch between the currently loaded Projects allows you to create your custom setup for any live event, enabled by its flexible audio and MIDI routing. To make the live performances even easier for you, Independence Live supports the use of ANY hardware controller - accesable with the knobs and buttons of the "remote control" area!

Independence FX:
A sophisticated virtual effect rack with all the Indepedence 2 insert filters and effects. Now you can use all the premium Independence 2 insert filters and effects also separately as effect plugin. You have access to over 40 powerful inserts including yellow tools' sophisticated realtime impulse response processor "Origami". Independence FX comes with hundreds of presets that can easily loaded via drag'n'drop using the powerful browser. The virtual rack functionality allows you to add an unlimited number of inserts into Independence FX and also to change their order afterwards.

Freedom - virtual effect rack

Freedom ist the ultimate virtual effect rack and enters a totally new dimension for the entire mastering and post production of your songs, scores and sound recordings.

FREEDOM 2.1 enters a totally new dimension for the entire mastering and post-production of your songs, scores, synchronizations and sound recordings in a mono, stereo or surround environment up to 8.1. The extremely intuitive and easy-to-use rack functionality gives you immediate access to over 40 premium filters and effects, including yellow tools' sophisticated real-time Impulse Response processor "Origami" with many premium IR models and variations (like churches, cathedrals, stages, rooms, halls, etc.) from the company "INSPIRED ACOUSTICS", many surround IR files and an audio import option. FREEDOM offers three independent snapshot slots. 

You can add an unlimited number of insert effects to each slot and easily change their order per drag'n'drop. Freedom also allows the import of 3rd party VST Effect plug-ins into the virtual effect rack, so beside all the already included premium filters and effects you can also use your other VST Effect plug-ins directly inside Freedom. For a most intuitive workflow, the order of your insert effects in the rack corresponds exactly to the sequence of your audio input signal. 

Worldwide unique in Freedom 2.1 is the flexibility of switching between different surround formats: You can change the input and output format of Freedom 2.1 completely independent from the original input format of your audio file! Generally Freedom 2.1 recognizes the surround format of your host-channel automatically and assigns the input and output format accordingly. 

Nevertheless you can assign other surround formats afterwards at any time. With Freedom 2.1 it is possible to extract separate channels of a surround file (any combination is possible), to edit them afterwards and finally to create a totally new surround format of these channels using the sophisticated Surround Panner. The Independence Instrument Candy was recorded with more detail and precision than ever before. If all available playing techniques and their dynamic layers and variations are used, your performance will select from 30 different samples per note, or even more.

The Independence Instrument Candy contains a vast 9GB sound library of premium soprano, alto, tenor, baritone and bass saxophones with up to three different mouthpieces (classic, jazz, metal). The included playing techniques are also available in the different dynamic layers piano, mezzo forte, forte and fortissimo - with up to 4 variations of the same note per note!
