Reviews Author: Richard E. for a number of years now these cd-r's are the only ones i've used. i've tried others but i'll only use these. i record a fair amount of dig audio; mostly from DAW's. the transfer to these cd's and what i hear on playback is above average, highly reliable, and it's quality is what i've come to expect if i'm going to rec to cd. i made a mistake early on and picked up another model cd-r. it was TDK brand so i figured i hadn't strayed to far, but i was so disappointed with what i heard on playback. not to much later on i figured out why that was. a music producer friend of mine pointed out for me that TDK cd-r_80TWN the 10/30/50 pk all come come stamped w/ "compact disc digital audio recordable"; directly on every cd. i began to examine the imation/memorex/ sony and other random cd-r's i'd come across. almost 95% of them didn't have the stamp. i've never again made the mistake, but TDK cd-r_80TWN do seem more difficult to find. i just hope they don't disappear altogether. it's a great product and it'd be pain to have to find a substitute. not sure if this review helps, but for those of us for whom accurate data transfer and superior fidelity on audio playback are critical these cd-r's will not let you down. remember to look for the stamp.
