Closed circumaural design for maximum isolation and comfort
When you're involved in a long listening
session, wearing comfort is extremely important. With the MDR-7509HD's
auranomic, circumaural headphones, the driver units have been designed
in accordance with the angle of the ear, eliminating uncomfortable
pressure on the ear.
Up to 80kHz reproduction and clear, distinct midrange
The MDR-7509HD employs newly-developed 50mm HD
drivers that realize up to 80kHz ultra-wide frequency range
reproduction. The new 360kJ/m3 high power neodymium magnets are used
for the driver unit to reproduce clear midrange.
High power handling capacity
Durability is key for professional audio
products, and the MDR-7509HD lives up to that demand. By applying OFC
(Oxygen Free Copper) for voice coil material, the MDR-7509HD supports
3000mW of power handling capacity.
