The SennheiserEW 100-ENG G3 system includes two different methods for capturing and transmitting audio. First, the system includes an ME 2 omnidirectional clip-on microphone and a bodypack transmitter for handy pickup. Second, the EW 100-ENG G3 system includes a convenient SKP 100 G3 plug-on transmitter. You can plug it into any XLR-equipped device — a mixer, a microphone, anything. Both transmitters send their audio to the extremely compact EK 100 G3 receiver, which we'll describe further in the next section.
