Providing highly accurate conversion rates at an affordable price, the SMPro Audio ADDA 192-S is a two-channel, 24-bit/192kHz AD/DA converter. The ADDA 192-S excels in a range of duties including professional studio recording, live sound recording, field recording, audio mastering, and broadcast applications, delivering excellent audio conversion. It boasts accurate and linear low-noise performance for a faithful re-creation of the input signal on two distortion-free outputs. All housed in a sturdy external chassis, the ADDA 192-S is also removed from any computer- or electronics-based frequency interference that could compromise the integrity of your audio.
Two high-quality combo connectors are provided on the front panel for easy connectivity with mic or line-level signals. The mic inputs feature excellent preamps with switchable 48V phantom power and -20dB pad. High-quality internal analog circuitry ensures optimum analog performance, whilst digital connectivity is provided in the form of both optical and coaxial S/PDIF I/O. Operating at sample rates from 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, through to 192kHz, the ADDA 192-S functions with an extremely low degree of jitter. This results in an impeccable sonic quality free from artifacts. The unit is designed to operate from internal or external sync (via S/PDIF).
The built-in headphone amp and analog/digital rotary mix controls allow the ADDA 192-S to be monitored effectively in any situation. The master XLR and headphone monitor output signal can be specifically tailored to provide a controlled mix level of both the analog and digital inputs. Perfect for zero-latency direct monitoring applications.
