The MX22s from Rolls is a small, 2-channel audio mixer.
It has two inputs, channel 1 being a stereo mini-plug input, and
channel 2 being a stereo RCA input. Both inputs are for line-level
sources (not microphone inputs). There are level controls for both
channels, and two separate outputs, one being stereo mini-plug and the
other stereo RCA.
The MX22s is a great problem solver in many different applications. It
can help when you're plugging devices into a home entertainment system,
and you have more devices than inputs on your A/V receiver. You can plug
both a CD player and the output of an MP3 player into the MX22s, and
mix them both into a single input on the home entertainment system.
If you have a wireless microphone system where the receiver can output a
line-level signal (like the Sennheiser Evolution series), then you can
mix a microphone and a CD player into a single input. The output of the
MX22s can be plugged into a PA system, a home entertainment system, a
powered speaker, and any line-level input.
