The Roland SPD-20 Total Percussion Pad lets you
create strikingly realistic acoustic drum sounds, ethnic percussion
instruments, fat electronic drum sounds, plus unique sound effects-—all
from a compact multi-pad. Features 700 high-quality sounds and effects
configurable into 99 patch locations. Eight velocity-sensitive pads
permit expressive triggering and output via MIDI. Selectable
multi-effects including Reverb, Delay, Chorus, and Flange are built in.
Four dual-trigger inputs allow SPD-20 sounds to be triggered by
external PD Series pads, the KD-7 Kick Trigger, the FD-7 Hi-Hat Pedal,
and more. Also can be connected directly to acoustic drum triggers.
For
use wih acoustic kits, the APC-33 Clamp permits attachment to a conventional cymbal stand.
