sounds easy using the Bank knob for sound categories and Value dial for
variations, while new digital pitch detection provides superior
tracking - and now bass players can tap fully into the popular GR-20 S
guitar synthesizer thanks to the new Version 2 software optimized for
both guitar and bass, which features the same popular patches and
instant access to edit parameters as Version 1 found on the GR20. With Roland's new GK-3B
divided pickup installed on your bass and Version 2 loaded into the
GR-20 S, bassists can enjoy a custom-tailored synth-bass playing
experience and step into the forefront of the stage, where you belong.
Compact, Easy Patch Selection and Lightning-Fast Tracking
The GR-20's new interface makes it operate more like a compact pedal.
Sounds can be selected using the Bank knob to choose a category (like
Strings/Orchestral, Brass, Bass/Guitar, Organ/Keyboard, Synth/Lead or
even new Rhythm and Percussion loops). Individual sounds can be
selected using the Value dial. And with 48-note polyphony and Roland's
latest synth engine, the sounds are nothing short of the best - all
playable with lightning-fast tracking via Roland's new digital pitch
detection technology.
