Easy Recording
A high-quality stereo microphone is built in in for easy, point and
shoot recording. You can also plug an additional microphone into the
CD-2e's 1/4" inputs. And, because the CD-2e record directly onto CD-R
and CD-RWs, all you have to do is press record, and start playing -
when you're done, you'll have a finished CD! For longer recording times
(complete concerts, church services, etc.) the CD-2e offers recording
to popularSD card media, and can record for over 12 hours with an 8GB
SDHC card!
Music-Training Support
The CD-2e is a valuable educational/practice tool, with its built-in
stereo speakers, tuner, metronome, and speed/pitch control. It's easy
to record lessons or musical passages, and play them back at a slower
tempo while retaining the original pitch - great for mastering more
difficult pieces of music! You can also change the pitch of the audio
and play along in different key signatures when you want to practice
the application of music theory and transposition!
User-friendly operation
With the CD-2e, there's no need to worry if you're not as experienced
with portable recorders - it's built with a slew of handy features,
including an onscreen guide that's designed to take you through every
step of the recording process! If you perform or work with musicians
who primarily speak another language, the CD-2e also has instructions
available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese!
Portable Design
The CD-2e is even slimmer than the original CD-2, weighing barely more

CD-2e runs off of six AA batteries, making it super-portable, an AC
