NEW IN SYMPHOBIA 1 (v1.51)
Audio edits for staccato & pizzicato strings
We revisited the original audio of all string ensemble staccato and pizzicato articulations and made them tighter and more consistent. Fast patterns and quantized sequences now sound better than ever. These edits cover the full string ensemble as well as the low strings in octaves. All staccatos and pizzicatos in the Symphobia 1 Multis have also been updated.
New dynamic response for many instruments
By popular request, we revisited the modulation wheel dynamic curves for many of the instruments, in particular the strings. Mod wheel response is now more dynamic, starting at a lower level, then slowly and smoothly cross fading through the various dynamic layers.
Symphobia 2 2016 Edition now offers speed control for selected instruments and articulations. Using Kontakt's Time Machine Pro algorithm, you can now easily adjust the length of clusters, risers and other relevant sounds to match your piece perfectly.
Sustain pedal control
By popular request, Symphobia 1 now has the option to disable the sustain pedal, allowing you to build templates and Multis where certain instruments do while others don't respond to the sustain pedal. This can be very useful when layering different types of instruments, especially in a live setting.
Major loading speed improvements
Thanks to a big overhaul of the scripting engine, Symphobia 1 2016 Edition loads many times faster (initialization time, not sample loading time). If you use a lot of Symphobia 1 instruments in your template, this will be a very welcome improvement.
Learnable CC controls
With version 1.51, released in February 2016, it is now possible to learn and reassign dynamics control and expression volume. Simply right-click the dynamics or expression readout in the interface and link it to any CC number you wish.
Symphobia is everything you have been missing in your orchestral palette: immersive ensemble multi-samples attained by true ensemble recordings and intense cinematic effects. All available in a rich selection of combinations and articulations.
Discover the all-updated 2016 Editions of the orchestral library series that forever changed the film scoring game: The Symphobia Series.
With Symphobia you have at your disposal a proven tool of inspiration for scoring films, games and television. Symphobia offers true ensemble recordings of a full symphony orchestra and an unbeatable collection of intense, cinematic orchestral effects.
True ensemble recordings
Symphobia is not your traditional orchestral sample library. Instead of focusing on individual multi-samples, Symphobia offers ensemble multi-samples in numerous arrangements for orchestral sections as well as a full orchestra performing together. The reason is simple: the real thing sounds so much more powerful.
Cinematic orchestral effects
Symphobia is famous for its cinematic orchestral effects. Like the ensemble performances, the effects are available in different orchestrations, performed by different sections from the orchestra. You’ll find full orchestra rips & hits, string risers, brass clusters and woodwind textures.
