I know earbuds for $400 may seem crazy but but they are $100 less than the Shure E500PTH and frankly I think they are a heck of a lot better. The isolation really lets you listen to these at a low level and hear every nuance of the music. Remember people these are professional quality not some little $99 toy - you get what you pay for, and these are better than any similar priced (and much higher priced unit) for my money. The most amazing part of the dual-bore design is that it sends high and low frequencies through separate acoustic canals, allowing them to mix in the ear, you literally can feel the music mixing in your head - worth every penny and then some - 5 stars for sure Author: AudioMan I know what you're thinking. $400..... for earphones?? Pick any song you like, balance the eq to compliment the music style and crank up the volume to that level just before it makes your ears hurt. Every instrument, every tone, perfectly delivered with absolutely no muffled overtones. Even with soft music each extreme high and discrete low come through clearly. Heavy duty cords that shape nicely around your ear and stay that way. You could buy something else, but these will be the last pair of earphones you will ever need.
