The
Delta 44 offers the same features and high performance as the Delta 66,
but is designed for the person who does not require S/PDIF digital I/O.
The Delta 44 features the same 24 bit 96kHz converter section that
makes the Delta 66 the envy of the audio card community. And like the
Delta 66, the Delta 44's breakout box handles four balanced or
unbalanced, +4dB or -10dB signal level analog inputs and outputs. Also
included is the Delta control panel software which configures the card
and controls digital mixing and routing.

- Configured as a PCI Host card with external audio break-out box.
- 4x4 analog break-out box accepts balanced or unbalanced connections on 1/4" tip-ring-sleeve (TRS) jacks.

- Measured D/A specs: 103dB (A-weighted) dynamic range, 0.0015% THD @ 0dBFS.
- Measured A/D specs: 99dB (A-weighted) dynamic range, 0.0023% THD @ 0dBFS.
- All data paths support up to 24 bit/96kHz performance, no upgrades necessary.
- Powerful digital mixing, routing and monitoring capabilities.

A solid product, it worked well for me.
I only wish it had some microphone inputs, but you can buy somethings simple (such as M-Audio's Audio Buddy) to go along with it if you need XLR microphone inputs and phantom power.
The software that came with the Delta 44 worked very smoothly for me.
