Media Control Station² MIDI/MMC features transport buttons, a precision optically encoded jog wheel and jog/shuttle control button. Shift and Option modifier keys let the MCS send more than 20 different MIDI Machine Control (and General Purpose Controller) messages. MCS² sends MMC messages for controlling a variety of compatible hard disk recorders and computer based editing systems. Use it with recorders from Akai, Alesis, Mackie, Roland, Tascam and others.
