Garritan Jazz & Big Band is designed for entry-level or professional musicians and features trumpets, trombones, saxophones, a complete rhythm section and more. The Garritan Jazz & Big Band library includes extended instrument ranges, a variety of mutes for brass and a comprehensive collection of saxophones. It offers advanced programming for expressive control and includes the Kontakt Sample Player and GPO Studio to work with notation programs. With Garritan Jazz & Big Band, you can control dynamics, tongue/slur articulations, intonation, vibrato and more.

Garritan Jazz and Big Band PC Requirements

- Windows XP, Pentium 4 /Athlon 1.8 GHz or better is recommended 
- 2 GB of free hard disk space 
- CD-ROM or DVD Drive 
- The Kontakt Player requires a soundcard: Standard DirectSound, MME or ASIO drivers required; Windows-compatible MIDI hardware if required. 
- A MIDI interface is required if you are using a MIDI keyboard, another MIDI controller or an external sequencer. The MIDI interface integrated in many sound cards can also be used. 
- To play the entire orchestra, 1 GB of RAM is recommended. There is a direct correlation between the number of instruments that can be loaded and the amount of available RAM. Loading the entire orchestra requires 1 GB of RAM. The more RAM available the better.
