ADAT
Optical and TOSLINK digital audio interfaces are the accepted standard
for interconnecting much of your studio's gear. but keeping all those
connections straight had been a challenge. After all, those little
strands of fiber optic cable tangled up behind your mixer all look
alike.
Send out the call for APACHE! With
12 independent sets of inputs and outputs, you can route up to four
sets of 24-channel equipment (96 channels of 24-bit audio) with one
easy to use box. That means you can route audio between your digital
tape machines, hard disk recorders, computers, and a digital mixer
without ever having to unplug and repatch cables. Just set up APACHE
once, and with just two button presses you can completely reroute your
studio.
Unlike some other solutions, APACHE
provies an independent precision PLL for each input. Each input stream
is carefully reclocked so that the output stream carries the full
integrity of the input. You'll always get trouble-free routing with
full 24-bit resolution. APACHE has easy-access routing controls and
indicators on the front panel (there's no menu hierarchy to navigate).
APACHE has FCC and CE compliance, and uses an IEC power cord (there's
no external "wall wart" power supply).
So get an APACHE, and stop crawling around.
