Desktop studios always seem to involve a compromise between what "works" and what "fits." Edirol has given you a new keyboard controller option that does both! The new PC-80 keyboard controller has 61 premium full-size, velocity-sensitive keys that will fit perfectly on your desk. The Edirol PC-80 offers the best value for music labs and simple home studios. The PC-80 is specifically built to offer you exactly what you're looking for - a well-built, expressive MIDI controller that is compact and easy to use.

New keyboard mechanism for easier, more consistent playing feel
The PC-80 has a new keyboard mechanism built with the latest technology taken from Roland's 30 years of synth development. The PC-80's new keyboard mechanism features re-designed keys that are more rounded for a better response to your touch, particularly in glissandi. The keyboard is specifically designed to offer a wide dynamic range with incredible subtlety. The PC-80's new key assembly also reduces mechanical noise and eliminates vertical shake in the key stroke.

Customize your PC-80's feel
In order to adapt to every player, the PC-80 includes four different velocity curves and three different levels of sensitivity. That's 12 levels of adjustability so you can find the exact match to your own playing style. The PC-80 can also output "fixed" velocity able from 1-127, which makes percussion programming easier.

No need to make extra room!
The PC-80's chassis is only slightly larger than the actual controls, saving you valuable space on your desktop. It also offers convenient access to all of the ports from the left side of the device, including USB, MIDI OUT, hold pedal, and expression pedal. This allows the PC-80 to sit directly in front of a monitor or laptop computer without wasting desktop space for cable connections.

Three power sources for convenience
The PC-80 can be used with or without a computer. When used with a computer, the PC-80 can draw power and send MIDI over the USB port, allowing you to reduce the clutter of having another device to plug into your power strip. The PC-80 can also draw power from an optional AC adapter or from four AA batteries, allowing you to use the PC-80 anywhere you want to take it. Compact, great-feeling, and versatile, the Edirol PC-80 is your desktop music solution!

Features:

  • High-quality 61-key keyboard mechanism
  • 12 able velocity curves
  • 3-digit, 7-segment LED and rotary encoder
  • Pitch Bend/Modulation lever
  • Convenient access to connections on side panel
  • Sustain & Expression Pedal Ports
  • MIDI Out port
  • 3-way power supply (USB/battery/AC adapter)
