Emax I support is currently weak January 16, 2015
Reviewer: Bogdan Kosanovic from Bethesda, MD United States
I planned to use this for converting Emax I sounds. Version 6 build 37 was the latest I could upgrade to. There were numerous problems in translation. Fine tuning on some voices would be off so much that it would sound out of tune. Modulation sources would be mapped wrong. Instead of footswitch controlling sustain, it would be mod-wheel. Filter cutoff settings were wrong in most cases so you could not hear the sound due to extremely low cutoff for LP filter. Customer support seems to be very good and they promised fixing tuning problem soon. They are looking into additional problems I reported. I gave this 3-star rating because tech support may do something about the problems. If they succeed in fixing them, I would probably go for 4 or 5-star rating. I'll wait and see. Good news is that at least raw samples seem to be converted properly. All of the problems can be manually fixed in destination sampler, but it is annoying to do all of that work for too many sounds.
