Using
powerful new technology, Celemony's Melodyne Editor opens new doors to
accurate pitch and time correction. Melodyne Editor uses the same
intuitive interface established in the Studio and the Plugin versions.
But Melodyne Editor goes beyond Celemony's established standards by
introduces the revolutionary new Direct Note Access technology, which
allows you to access individual notes from polyphonic material. That
means you can apply the same polish to piano and rhythm guitar tracks
previously reserved for vocals. Bad tunings and fumbled chords no
longer mean irrecoverable blemishes. With Melodyne Editor, audio tuning
will never be the same!
Refreshingly intuitive user interface makes hands-on note tweaking simple
One
of the best things about Celemony's products is the sheer ease of use
that they offer. There are a lot of us who don't like wading through
list after list in the help menus or user manuals to figure out the
basic operations of programs. Melodyne, in all of its variations,
follows a simple layout and intuitive structure that allow many users
the luxury of quickly figuring out most of its important functions.
Because of the logical way you can grab the tail of a note and stretch
it, or the body of the note and slide it up or down the piano
roll-style layout, even if you are less inclined to figure things out
by yourself, you will appreciate Melodyne Editor's balance of power
simplicity.
Massive editing flexibility gives you total note adjustment freedom
There
is almost nothing you can't do to an audio note in Celemony's Melodyne
Editor. Time compression and expansion, pitch correction, pitch
modulation (like vibrato), drift between notes, and even the formant
(the sonic quality like the difference between a man's and woman's
voice) are all under your control. With notes represented by miniature
wave forms, and the layout based on a piano roll, editing audio with
Melodyne Editor becomes as flexible as editing MIDI. You can even
automatically quantize your audio to the beat or to the closest note,
making the first pass of editing a snap. And because you can
independently adjust the drift between notes and how much the
quantization affects the notes, you can still preserve some of the
essential nuances of the original performance by only applying mild
corrections.
Introducing DNA (Direct Note Access) technology, an editor's dream-come-true
Based
on the revolutionary new DNA (Direct Note Access) technology, Melodyne
Editor's note adjustment functions are no longer limited to monophonic
audio. DNA actually analyzes and separates chords into their components
and lets you edit the pitch of each individual note. So if you capture
that once-in-a-lifetime guitar performance and then realize your B
string was out of tune, there's no need to worry — you can fix the
tuning afterward and still retain the energy of that excellent take.
Fumble a note in a keyboard part? Relax! All you have to do is load the
blemished region into Melodyne Editor, tweak the fumbled notes, and
your good to go. Even if you recorded the keyboard's MIDI, Melodyne
Editor save you the time you would have to take finding the botched
notes, fixing or erasing them, and them rerecording the keyboard's
audio. This is the feature that many audio editors and mic engineers
have been dreaming of ever since the first vocal tuning programs
emerged, and now it's here with Celemony's Melodyne Editor!
