Woks just as well as the old Edirol UM-3, why Edirol gave it to Cakewalk (yes I know Roland owns them both I don't know). It iis better looking now with a slicker package, but it is midi interface so I don't much care. It doesn't kind of suck that they raised the price on this now that it is Cakewalk, I get the same performance I just paid more to get it.

The Midi Store did their usual great job though and got me the unit FAST as always, do love this store!

When it works, it works fine. But after each restart of my system, I have to disconnect, reconnect, reinstall drivers, jump through hoops, etc. in order for it to work again.

Found the problem! DO NOT use an USB extension cord. You have to connect the hardwired USB cable directly to your computer. An idiotic solution by Cakewalk/Edirol/Roland, or whatever, to hardwire it with such a short cable.
