KM212 -Cardioid Dynamic Microphone. Dialed in at the factory for the thump and crack of your kick drum. Try it on the bass rig too. The included mic clip provides additional isolation.

Reviews Author: IndieQueen This is a heck of value in a 7 piece set, CAD quality and pretty much all you want in a rugged mic set. I like that you get the clips included. These are not cheapo plastic mic housings either. They made of burnished metal and really look like a pro set up, even more amazing considering how inexpensive they were to purchase. My first experience with The Midi Store and they shipped really fast, very nice folks on the phone when I called to ask about this kit too - overall A+ experience. Author: Mike from ATL I bought these a little while back and can honestly say that for this price, these are the best microphones I have ever encountered. Personally, I think these mics should be worth more, but I'm not complaining. The bass mic is great, you just have to EQ it a bit to get a nice thump with some click. It's also good for bass cabs too. The snare mic is comparable to an SM57; it picks up every nuance of the drum. The snare is crisp and gives you exactly what you hear when playing. The tom mic sounds exactly what like your toms, so make sure you have new heads (unless you like the crappy head sound of course!) The overheads pick everything up, including the high hat if you use both of them, and if you don't want to use the tom mics the overheads pick the toms really well too. Killer price on a damn fine set of drum mics!
