The Audix CX-212 is an exceptional multi-pattern condenser microphone with a large diaphragm that is ideal for project studios, professional audio production, and live stage performances. I bought this mic blindly but came out very impressed. It has cardioid, figure 8, and omni! The sound is really clear and has a really really strong bottom end. The only negative thing I have to say is that the shockmount is a little old school and you have to be careful about kicking the bottom of the stand, but that's also just because it's a super sensitive mic. Great mic for picking up all the details!
