The compact Alesis io|Control merges a practical and expandable audio
interface with implementation of the most commonly used control surface
features. The io|Control allows for up to 12 channels of simultaneous
input straight to your computer via an integrated, low-latency FireWire
interface. Audio inputs include four built-in analog ins (2 XLR, 2
balanced 1/4" line), as well as eight inputs of digital audio (ADAT).
Features such as a jog wheel, six assignable buttons, and three layers
of four 360-degree knobs allow the io|Control to function as a fully
featured control surface.

An effective interface
The io|Control features four built-in audio inputs (2 XLR preamp inputs
and 2 balanced 1/4" line inputs) for four channels of 24Bit/96kHz
simultaneous audio recording, giving you a very clean-sounding
interface for DAW recording. Combine the audio with 10 MIDI channel
capability, and you've got up to 14 possible channels of simultaneous
input to your computer via the low-latency FireWire interface.
Compact control surface
With quick control over the most common Digital Audio Workstation (DAW)
commands, the lightweight but rugged io|Control gives you a practical
control surface that's intuitive to use. The unit's jog wheel can be
used to shuttle, zoom and enter data, while six fully assignable
buttons provide different functions for setting knobs, the io|Control
offers immediate control of up to 12 parameters, such as volume, pan
and aux sends. A built-in transport control allows analog-style
commands to your DAW "deck," and 20 recallable presets are a real time
saver for maintaining the settings you prefer.
Cubase LE included
Compatible with most DAW programs, the Alesis io|Control comes bundled
with Cubase LE recording software, so you can start tracking as soon as
you open the box! It's an amazingly flexible and powerful solution for
your digital recording needs!
