Designed with the dual back-up battery system featuring a replaceable
but non-rechargeable 3V lithium battery (primary battery) and an
on-board rechargeable but non-replaceable battery (secondary battery)
for data retention. This design allows replacement of primary battery
without data loss for approximately 20 minutes. These replaceable
battery models have access times of 200ns and a broad range of
PCMCIA SRAM PC Card capacities.
Compatible
with all Alesis QuadraSynth and QS-series synthesizers with PCMCIA card
slots, including the Alesis QuadraSynth, QuadraSynth Plus Piano, QS6,
QS6.1, QS7, QS7.1, QS8, QS8.1 and QSR models. Normally used for the
storage of extra banks of patches and mixes.
These SRAM cards feature a built in lithium ion battery that recharges
when inserted into a PC Card slot. Depending on the capacity of the
card, the batteries in these SRAM memory cards can go between seven to
twelve months before requiring recharge. These fixed battery models
have improved access times of 150ns and a broader range of capacities
The cards are compatible with nearly all known PCMCIA
SRAM PC Card
applications and feature a write protect switch for preventing
inadvertent erasure. The card's rigid stainless steel construction
withstands harsh environmental conditions.
